![]() ![]() I understand that "Other" simply means anything that isn't music/movies/photos but I don't understand why it is so large. ![]() The only apps I have downloaded are Chrome, Flux, Spotify, and battery monitor. I've only had this computer since early April and I've only used it to backup my iPhone, stream Netflix/Youtube/Hulu, use social media. Totaling to ~121 GB (I know realize this is extremely small and that I should've got a much larger hard drive)Įverything is the expected amount except for other. When I go to "About this Mac" and to the storage it says there is 85.71 GB other, 15.13 GB Photos, 8.7 GB movies, 7.74 GB apps, 1.31 GB audio, 15.5 MB Backups. I bought a new MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Early 2015) with a 2.7 GHz Intel Core i5 processor, memory is 8GB 1867 MHz DDR3. I'm a new Mac user so I don't fully understand all the terms/what everything is so please bear with me. Want to know what is taking up so much space. I cant find any files that are larger than a couple of GBs. ![]() I only use it for streaming/ social media. ![]()
